I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I read the whole thing in one sitting. It's told in the first person by an eighteen-year-old girl who leaves the security of her Idaho home to become an actress in Hollywood, only to be kidnapped and taken to a place where she is expected to play an assassin. She's bundled onto an airplane with no opportunity to pack anything, and finds out the hard way that she gets airsick. I can so sympathize there; my best friend does the same thing, I can't take her anywhere. But I digress.
The way Misti Brooke tells her story is completely believable as being told by an eighteen year old girl except for one thing. Wouldn't an eighteen year old girl from Idaho give at least a passing thought to STDs or unwanted pregnancy before jumping into the sack with her handsome co-star? I'm just saying.
Other than that, I found this book to be a delicious morsel. Pure fun. Good job!
This was a charming, lighthearted fun book. It has everything romance, excitement, and adventure, all in a beautifully described setting. This author is incredibly witty and her characters are so lovable. Mistaken is also seriously funny, it had me laughing out loud several times. It was really hard to set down. I wanted to read it from start to finish in one setting; unfortunately I was unable to do that and it stayed in my thoughts making me wonder what crazy thing was going to happen next. It is a quick read though, and leaves you wanting more, but is perfect just the way it is.
I really liked this book. The story-line and character development was very well done. I was absorbed into the story immediately and enjoyed the adventures of the main characters. The chemistry between them was palpable. Even though I don't normally enjoy romance novels, this book held my attention and I truly enjoyed this book.
This was a cute story with several twists and a definite beginning, middle, and end. I enjoyed the writing and there were only a few grammar errors. It was an enjoyable and fast read!
